Friends of APL

The Friends of the Alpine Public Library (FAPL) is a nonprofit group of citizens who believe that any community is a better place in which to live if that community has a first-rate library.

We act in cooperation with the Alpine Public Library’s director and Board of Directors and serve as the library’s advocate and fundraiser in the community. We create public support for and awareness of the Alpine Public Library through fundraising events, outreach programs and management of the Re-Reads bookstore. FAPL is the volunteer base for the library and is always looking for new friends and helpers.

We meet at noon on the Tuesday before the second Thursday in January, April, July, and October in the library’s AEP Multipurpose Room. Anyone interested in FAPL activities and opportunities is welcome.
