Seeing in the Dark: Watching Invisible Bird Migrations May 13th 7:30pm

Dr. Maureen G. Frank, from the Borderlands Research Institute, will discuss the curious patterns of bird migration in the U.S. and the ramifications of light pollution. This presentation begins at 7:30 pm and is followed by nighttime viewing hosted by Stephen Hummel from the McDonald Observatory. Children’s activities begin at 7:30 pm in the Community Room.  Kids are also welcome to join the nighttime viewing starting about 8:30 pm.
